was open in
1980 when the Games of the XXII Olympiad was
held in Moscow. Olympia is both a nursery and
a kindergarten. For several years the organization
was a part of the TogliattiAzot. The plant provided
the kindergarten with the very best materials and
equipment. Olympia is located in the forest area.
It is a center of physical training and a healthy
life-style. There is a stadium, a hokey court, the
play field for gorodki, several playgrounds, and
a gym on the territory of the kindergarten. The
teaching staff is attentive, creative and active. All
the teachers are qualified specialists. They help
physically disabled children, correct psycho-
speech delays, hearing damages and allolalia.
They also use proprietary technologies in their
work with children.

Children's
Choreographic
School
Named After Maya Plisetskaya
was open in
1999 by Nadezhda Gorkovenko. Maya Plisetskaya,
Russian prima ballerina, has personally approved
the curriculum of the school. The school is known
both in Russia and abroad. There are a lot of
subjects there, such as ballet, classical dance,
rhythm, ethics, aesthetics, French, and others.
There are four different ballet groups in the school.
More than 250 children and young people study
there. The age of the students ranges from 4 to
24. The school is in the list of the best Russian
educational institutions. The museum named after
Maya Plisetskaya will be open soon.

Contemporary Academy of Design and
Cinematography
was established in 1998.
Today the Academy provides education in the
most modern specialties, such as information
technology, design, cinematography, painting,
technique and art of photography. About 1,5
thousand young people have graduated from
the Academy and founded jobs in local TV-
channels, design studios, tuning centers and IT
companies.

Children's Driving School
on the base of
All-Russian Society of Motorists was founded in
2004. The director of the school is Victor Yurchuk.
Here children are taught how to drive a car.
They also learn rules of the road. Besides, they
participate in different competitions. The pupils
won 47 cups and were awarded with 60 letters of
commendation.

Bogatyrskaya Sloboda
is a spiritual and
cultural Kremlin, located in the Zhiguli Mountains
on one of the banks of the Usa river, a tributary of
the Volga. This is an amazing place created in the
tradition of ancient wooden architecture by artist
Victor Petrov in 1995. Every tourist can come
here and become a bogatyr. You can ride a horse,
swim in the river, taste the old Russian cuisine, try
yourself in bogatyr fight. You can try on chain mail
and helmets and learn to set sail and to row. There
is also an opportunity to compete in different
traditional bogatyr amusements.

Russian Student Spring Festival
is the
only Russian program of support and development
of student creativity. Hundreds of universities from
76 regions are involved into it. About a million of
novice dancers, singers and actors take part in this
festival. The idea of the festival appeared right in
Togliatti in 1993, that is why it is so important for
our city. Since 1999 the festival has been holding
every year in a new city. In 2015 it will be held in
Volgograd.

Alexey Anisimov-Klimkin
is one of
the famous Togliatti artists. His first personal
exhibition was held in the literary salon of
Avtograd Library in 2001. In 2005 Anisimov-
Klimkin became a member of the Union of
Togliatti Artists called Solyaris and in 2007 he
joined the Union of Russian Artists (Moscow).
Alexey is also known for his Top of Reality art
project, created in 2010.

Aleksandr Goryachkin
is an avant-gardist
of the Volga region. He has never been a member
of any creative union due to his philosophy. He
creates urban landscapes in unconventional
manner. He also likes to paint the Volga river.
There are some of Goryachkin's works in the
Museum of Fine Arts. The majority of his pictures
are located in private collection in Italy, Spain, the
USA and other contries.

Beauty, Health, Sports
Togliatti School of Sports Acrobatics
and Trampolining
was founded in 1967 by
Vitaly Groysman, an outstanding trainer, a
doctor and an honorary citizen of Togliatti. The
school has educated 29 world and European
champions and 32 champions of the USSR
and Russia. The official opening of the school
at the city Department of Education was held in
1980. In 1991 it was assigned a status of the
Children's and Youth Sports School of Olympic
Reserve. Today the school has some promising
trainees, such as M. Melnik, A. Yudin, and V.
Kombarov.

Alyye Parusa
(Scarlet Sails) is one of the
popular Togliatti sanatoriums, a favorite place of
those citizens who know the value of their health.
Even if you come here once, you will tend to come
back here again and again. The sanatorium is
located in the old-growth forest on the bank of the
Volga river. It has a multifunctional therapeutic
base. The best specialists work here. More that
108 thousand adults and 34 thousand children
have visited the sanatorium.

Handball Club Lada
is the leader of
handball in Russia. It is a women's team playing in
the Russian Super League. The club was founded
on the 7th of April, 1998. Nobody believed in
its success, but the girls won one prize after
another. The team won six championships in the
Russian Super League. Besides, the girls became
champions in Europe winning the 2002 Cup
Winners' Cup. Moreover, Lada won the 2012 EHF
Cup. The club also has bronze and silver medals.
AVTOVAZ and Ministry of Sports of the Samara
region support Lada financially.

is a beauty salon that not
